BACK TO MAC!

So, today I decided to do the Back To Mac scheme and exchanged 6 of my empty containers for a lipstick of my choice!

It was really simple to do, all I had to do was tell the MAC artist what lipstick I wanted and then they took my 6 containers and gave me the lipstick. They didn't give me the cardboard box it comes in and they actually ripped it open and asked me to write my name and email address on it - probably for their records so they know why it wasn't paid for!

The empty products I exchanged were:
- Two lipsticks
- One eye shadow container
- One face stick container (think that's what they're called?! Haha)
- One liquid foundation bottle
- One eyelash case

The lipstick I got in exchange was Mehr. When I swatched it on the back of my hand, it looked a nice pink/mauve colour, however, now that I have worn it on my lips it's a bit of a brighter pink, almost a toned down baby pink! I still like it thought and definitely think it is very wearable :)

Check out my Instagram page @bazinga.buys to see a photo of the lipstick, although the lighting really isn't that great!

So if you have empty MAC containers lying around, I suggest you definitely collect 6 of them and go into either a MAC store or MAC counter and exchange them for a free lipstick! I've heard that in MAC stores you can get a lipstick or an eye shadow for free but I am not entirely sure about this.

I also have a £20 MAC voucher that my previous work gave me and I still haven't spent it... so if anyone has any ideas of what I could buy with it then please let me know! I think I will stay away from the lipsticks, however, so if you have any suggestions for any MAC products I could get that aren't lipsticks that definitely comment below and tell me!

Nail Tutorial #5 - Halloween!

These nails are inspired by Nails By KC and they do look hard to do, but really they're simple! :)

First, I painted on the white and green base coat. For the white I used Barry M's Matte White and for the green I used Models Own My Midori, however, I would probably suggest a slightly lighter green is best in order to show the black detailing!

Once this base coat had dried, I then began with the detailing. I only used the Barry M Nail Art Pen in Black for all the black detailing on both of these designs! This pen is VERY easy to use and you can control how much product comes out depending on how hard you pump the pen. This detailing was very simple to do when looking at a photo of the designs. The good thing about both of these designs is that you can afford to be slightly messy with them as it adds to the halloween look!

I then coated all the nails with Seche Vite Top Coat
